Which Knoxville IT companies do managed IT?
Limehawk, TenHats, The IT Company, Hyperion Networks, and TeamLogic IT. Those are the five I would give you if you asked me at lunch. All of them do managed IT for Knoxville and East Tennessee firms. I run Limehawk. The rest of this page is who each shop is actually good for.
Limehawk
I founded Limehawk in 2022. We take title companies, law firms, CPAs, clinics, and plants in the 5-100 seat range. Three users minimum. Month-to-month. Critical in under 15 minutes, standard in 1-2 hours. I write every incident report on this site, including the title closer whose inbox got taken over and the open RDP we found on day one of an onboarding.
We map controls to FTC Safeguards, HIPAA, SEC/FINRA, NAIC, and GLBA. We will keep a Windows 98 box or a SCADA panel online when ripping it out is not an option. We are a bad fit for a 250-seat NOC, and a worse fit if you only want someone when a PC dies.
TenHats
TenHats is the Knoxville shop that built a data center on Fort Summit Way and made the 2026 MSP 501 as the only Knoxville company on that list, at No. 201. They started in 2016 as SH Data Technologies and took the TenHats name in 2022. Microsoft Solutions Partner. 24/7 help desk. Healthcare, banking, manufacturing, and accounts larger than the ones we take.
They are a strong call once you need a local MSP that already runs at that scale.
The IT Company
The IT Company is a Knoxville firm that has been doing fully managed and co-managed IT for small and mid-sized businesses long enough that people search the name on purpose. Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee has been with them since 2011. Their published clients also include shops like ERISA Services and Magnum Venus Products. On top of the help desk they sell strategy, automation, and AI.
If you typed “the it company knoxville,” this is the firm. They earned that search.
Hyperion Networks
Joe Ray started Hyperion on April 5, 2013, at 3648 Louisville Road, just west of Knoxville. He came out of Knox County Schools and other Knoxville IT shops. Manufacturing and healthcare are the verticals they put on the door. By 2018 they had added cybersecurity, cloud, and VoIP. Their about page says they crossed 100 networks in 2021. They have been in this market longer than we have.
A plant or a clinic on the Louisville / Blount side of town will like that team.
TeamLogic IT
TeamLogic IT of West Knoxville is at 9111 Cross Park Drive. Randall Wilson runs the office. They do outsourced, co-managed, and project work, and they can pull extra hands from the national TeamLogic bench when a job needs it.

What is the best IT company in Knoxville?
For a 5-100 person firm that has to survive an audit, Limehawk. That is the company I built. TenHats is the better call once you want a Knoxville MSP with its own data center and an MSP 501 slot. The IT Company is the Knoxville SMB shop people mean when they search that name. Hyperion is Joe’s Louisville team, good on manufacturing and healthcare. TeamLogic already covers a lot of West Knoxville desks, and they do it well.
