What workflow automation actually replaces

Most offices run at least one process that hops between three or four systems by hand: a request comes in on a form, gets emailed to a manager for approval, then gets keyed into accounting or a CRM once it's approved. We script that hop (trigger, routing, condition, handoff) so the process runs on its own and the only human step left is the actual decision.

Where this fits alongside our other automation work

Limehawk has run RMM fleet automation for years. Patching, encryption, software deployment, and hardware inventory scripted across entire client fleets, documented in our public incident reports. Workflow AI applies that same scripting and integration discipline to business processes instead of machines: the target is a purchase-order approval or a client onboarding checklist, not a patch cycle.

It's a newer offering for us, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. We don't have a stack of workflow-specific case studies yet. What we do have is a real record of building automation that keeps running after we leave. What kinds of processes we automate

It's scripting and connecting the multi-step business processes your staff currently do by hand across several systems (an approval that has to move from a form to an inbox to an accounting system, for example). We wire the trigger, the routing logic, and the handoff so the process runs on its own instead of depending on someone remembering the next step.

Is this different from your RMM fleet automation?

Same underlying discipline, different target. RMM automation runs scripts against your computers (patching, encryption, deployment). Workflow AI automates a business process that spans systems and people (approvals, onboarding steps, alerts, data sync between platforms). Both replace manual, repetitive handoffs with something that runs unattended.

How new is this service at Limehawk?

Workflow AI is a newer line for us, built on the same RMM scripting and integration work we've run for years on the infrastructure side.
