What do email migration services include?
Historical email, calendars, contacts, folder structure, and file attachments, moved as they sit today. Mailbox permissions and retention come with them when the source system has them. We run the project. You are not handed a migration tool and left to finish the cutover.
The work is quoted once, per environment, after a short look at what you actually have. It stands apart from month-to-month managed IT. A lot of clients stay on for Microsoft 365 administration once the mail is in the new tenant. That part is optional.
How do you migrate Google Workspace to Microsoft 365?
Gmail becomes Outlook. Calendars, contacts, and the folder tree come with the mail, including attachments. We run a test batch on real mailboxes before the full pass, so a weird label or a shared calendar shows up in the test, not on Monday morning.
The same path runs the other way, Outlook back to Gmail, when a firm is leaving Microsoft 365. Either direction is a planned cutover, not a weekend of forwarding rules.
Can you move on-premises Exchange to Microsoft 365?
On-premises Exchange is a normal source, same as Google Workspace. Mail, calendars, contacts, and attachments move to the cloud tenant. A look at the server comes first, so we know the mail can be read before anyone is quoted.
What about a Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant move?
Two tenants become one: an acquisition, a split that needs reversing, or a firm that ended up with mail in more than one place. Office 365 to Office 365 is the same discipline as a Google move. Test batch, full history, cutover when nobody is sending.
How do you keep the cutover from losing mail?
The bulk of the copy happens before the switch. The final cutover is nights or weekends, with a note to the office about what changes and when. User training is part of that, not a later add-on. Regulated firms (FTC Safeguards, HIPAA, SEC/FINRA, NAIC, GLBA) get permissions and retention carried on purpose. A new tenant left on defaults is how wire fraud starts.
